Instructions

  1. Prepare the pasta and broccoli: Boil salted water and cook fettuccine until al dente according to package instructions. In the last 2-3 minutes of cooking, add the broccoli florets to the same pot to steam and soften alongside the pasta. Drain and set aside.
  2. Cook the chicken: While pasta cooks, heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Cook until golden and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes per side. Remove chicken from pan and slice into strips or bite-size pieces.
  3. Make the Alfredo sauce: In the same skillet, melt butter and lightly sauté minced garlic until fragrant but not browned. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer, then gradually whisk in grated Parmesan until the sauce thickens and becomes silky smooth. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Combine all ingredients: Add cooked chicken, broccoli, and pasta back into the skillet with Alfredo sauce. Toss gently to coat evenly and let flavors meld for 1-2 minutes over low heat.
  5. Serve warm: Plate immediately while creamy and comforting. Garnish with extra Parmesan or fresh herbs if desired.
