  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Strawberry Cream Filling: Wash and finely chop the fresh strawberries. In a small saucepan, combine strawberries with sugar and cook on low heat until they soften and release juice. Let cool, then mix in heavy cream, butter, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy. Chill the filling to set slightly before using.
  2. Melt the Chocolate Shell: Using a double boiler or microwave, gently melt your choice of chocolate until smooth and glossy. Stir frequently to avoid burning. Let the chocolate cool slightly but keep it pourable for coating.
  3. Mold or Spoon the Chocolate Base: Pour or spoon a thin layer of melted chocolate into silicone molds or onto parchment-lined trays. Ensure the base coats every corner. Place the molds in the refrigerator just until the chocolate firms up but is not completely hard.
  4. Add Strawberry Cream Filling: Using a piping bag or small spoon, carefully fill the centers of the semi-set chocolate bases with the chilled strawberry cream. Leave a small border for sealing with the final chocolate layer.
  5. Seal with Chocolate and Chill: Top the strawberry cream with another layer of melted chocolate, sealing the filling inside. Gently tap molds to release air bubbles and ensure smooth surfaces. Refrigerate the finished chocolates for at least 2 hours to fully set before unmolding.
